WE CELEBRATE YOU

     PORTER RANCH COMMUNITY SCHOOL- Building Life Long Learning Practices C. Sanders Emblems Art Director, Claudio and Account Executive, Shelly went to Porter Ranch Community School to teach an art and history lesson to a sixth grade class in in the spring. The lesson plan included the history of Cloisonné and all the steps in the production of a lapel pin from its inception to the final product.  

       Students were then challenged to design a pin for the entire student body. C. Sanders was so happy to be able to brighten the lives of those who have had a tough year due to the Porter Ranch Gas Leak with our Lapel Pin lesson and Pin donation. Our Art Department and staff then voted on the best student design and on September 30, 2016 Claudio and Shelly delivered the student created pin to the Porter Ranch Community School. Each student and faculty member received a pin.

      On our Facebook page for August and September, we featured our customer's stories and products. We were overwhelmed with the inspiring stories from our customers. Here are two we love.

Rick Makowski of Promoworks Solutions is an ASI/ Advertising Specialty Institute distributer, veteran, and an avid supporter of patriotic activities with veterans and our youth. His company designed (with input from a 9-11 survivor) and created the 9-11 coin with us, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9-11. He sponsored the coin with Lockheed Martin. The coins were given out to the County Commissioner in Madison County and respective Mayors, who then handed them to their first responders (Police, Fire, First Aid) to remember that tragic day and then Thank them for their sacrifices in what they do for the community each and every day. Rick is a lifelong patriot and an advocate for those who need a voice.

    Our long-time client, Carol Preble of the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Chicago, shared her club's story with us. The Siberian Huskey Club has an annual dog show and each year they create a new pin for this show. They come up with a design and then we create the pin for them. They make a limited number, and these pins have become collector items for people. This year's pin will be their 34th pin made by C. Sanders. 34 years!!!
