C. Sanders Emblems Coronavirus Update

A Message From Our President To Our Valued Customers

Many of you have reached out to me over the last few weeks with a number of questions concerning COVID 19. I’d like to use this newsletter to answer some of those questions and update you as to what C. Sanders is doing for you, our customers.

Since the Coronavirus first became known to us during the Chinese New Year Festivities, I have been in daily contact with all our factory owners and managers via email correspondence. I am taking this situation seriously and have plans and policies in place to protect our employees and our customers. Here is where we stand today. Our factories have just reopened and begun the manufacturing of a great deal of backlogged orders. It is terribly disappointing not to have your pins for an event and I am very sympathetic. At my expense, whenever possible, I will FedEx 2 day air from overseas in order to meet your deadline.

I understand all of the frustration and confusion at this time. I am dedicated to doing all that I can to work with our factories, shipping partners, and all of you, to fulfill your orders and catch up as quickly as possible while always keeping safety and health first.

Here are specific questions from many of you, followed by my responses:

Q. What are your factories doing to prevent the spread of the virus?

A. Before our factory workers could return to work last week, in each case, the entire factory was disinfected, and continues to be at the end of each day. Government officials inspected each factory before they were allowed to return. All workers were screened and are required to wear masks. Hand washing stations are available throughout the factories. I am so grateful that no employees at any of our factories became ill.

Q. What are you doing in your office and warehouse to protect your employees?

A. Our office and warehouse is sanitized daily for the safety of my employees. Disposable gloves, sanitizers, and good old soap and water are readily available and used daily.

Q. Should I be concerned about touching your boxes at my door?

A. There is no consensus as to how long the virus lives on surfaces. Adam, in our warehouse opens all boxes while wearing disposable gloves. He sanitizes the contents by spraying them with disinfectant during our regular quality control procedures. However, once your box leaves our warehouse via UPS or USPS, multiple people will handle this box before it reaches your door. Therefore, just to be cautious, we recommend opening the boxes with disposable gloves.

I welcome any additional questions or concerns you may have and will answer them promptly.

I thank you for your continue patience and trust in my company as we navigate through the challenging weeks and months ahead.
